Durarara’s ending… with Angels!

I’ve been getting really excited about the new Evangelion movie so I’ve been engaging in some Eva activity time so I won’t explode. Yesterday my writing partner, Maddie, drilled me on all the angels and I tried to draw them from memory! It was not too bad accept for who really remembers the bacteria angel? It’s kinda dumb…
I was talking earlier about how Neon Genesis Evangelion is probably the closest popular human artwork has gotten to visually depicting Castiel’s brethren. (Even if the narrative only superficially borrows Adamic imagery.)
Because I can’t be bothered uploading ten thousand images separately, here, have my old MSPaint reference sheets, featuring 15 of the 18 Angels, and a few alternate/prototype/derivative ones as well as an actual Eva or two. (Eva designs totally count, since they’re made from Adam. They’re like the Nephilim of this verse.)
Seriously, Rebuild’s modded version of Sahaquiel is badass. Its feathers are little humanoids that are like a million little Israfels with eyes painted on them. It is a deadly rainbow eyeball of a colony-drop.
Also, Shamshel is a giant phallic insect of doom, no matter what version, but in Rebuild, you can more clearly see that its insectoid legs are like articulated ribs.
